Morning Kitchen
A dark galley kitchen opened up into the heart of the house.

Removing one wall turned a narrow kitchen into a bright room facing the garden. We planned an oak island with seating for four, hid the appliances in a scullery behind a pocket door and kept the main kitchen for cooking and coffee.
Open shelves hold the owners’ ceramics collection, and a single long pendant ties the island to the dining table beyond.
