The owners loved the arched windows of their home but the rooms around them felt cold and disconnected. We took the arch as the starting point and carried it through the house: a curved sofa, rounded mirrors, a plaster finish in warm off-white and oak underfoot.
Furniture was edited rather than replaced. Two inherited armchairs were reupholstered in bouclé and now anchor the reading corner by the window. New pieces were chosen to sit low and let the architecture lead.
The result is a home that feels quiet without being empty, and that changes beautifully through the day as the light moves across the plaster.
